Apple Don’t Care

By at 1 May, 2012, 2:13 pm

I read in a old issue that AppleCare covers damage to computer screens. Recently, my MacBook Pro managed a small crack, which eventually turned into a crack extending across the entire screen. When I asked about it, Apple said that AppleCare did not cover this kind of damage. Is this true?

On it’s site, Apple says that it covers damage to your Mac computer and any Apple display purchased with yo Mac, but doesn’t explicitly mention that it covers damage to the screen on the MacBook Pro. As new products come out and devices evolve, AppleCare’s terms of coverage are bound to change. Our advice is to always ask plenty of questions before signing up for an extended warranty.
